My Story

Sila’s is a Dubai based pastry shop providing premium quality cakes and cookies for all occasions. 

Our goal is to provide healthy, creatively designed and tasty mouth watering desserts. We only use premium quality natural ingredients,

hence no artificial ingredients or ready mixes. Many of our cakes and cookies are customised to meet your special occasion requirements. Baking with love and serving you is our never-ending passion.

Initially established in Beirut (Lebanon) in 2014 as a home business, our unique concept has gained wide acceptance ever since.

About Sila’s:

What started as a side hobby ended as a full-time profession made with love.

I still vividly recall my very first cake order from a dear friend who had a house dinner party and was in urgent need of a humble yet scrumptious carrot cake. Before I knew, it became the talk of the town, and calls started coming in. I had no idea at that time that my first initiative would turn into a passion and transform my life. After mastering Baking and its techniques attending several specialised courses, seminars and workshops around the world, I made a pledge to myself and to my loved ones that to become a professional I must go all the way.  This entails always using the best in class natural ingredients. What I feed my family is what I feed my customers whom I consider as precious; because they are the reason, I am who I am today.

Interest in Cake Work:

It all started with a series of seminars and work classes:
2005: Several hands-on classes at the “Kitchen-Lab” in Beirut with several world renowned Deserts Chefs;
2015: Squires Kitchen International, master-class in sugar paste, modeling, 3D, 3 tiers cakes, wedding cakes, flowers and figurine. Farnham, England;
2016: Lindt Chocolatier, Brussels, Chocolate seminar;
Cupcakes seminar in Sugar-Birds cupcakes , Dusseldorf, Germany.
2017: Wedding cake class with fondant and waffle paper with Daniel Dieguez, Beirut;
Buttercream master class with Queens of heart, Sugar World Aliprantis, Athens, Greece;
2018: Victorian wedding cakes with waffle paper and stencil at Mutlu Dükkan, Istanbul, Turkey;
2019: Painting on cake with the French artist Luma at Mutlu Dükkan, Istanbul, Turkey;
